As a Physician Assistant supporting the Emergency Department Physician, you will obtain histories, assess patients, interpret findings, and support treatment planning. The position emphasizes collaborative care, patient safety, quality improvement, and lifelong learning within Lakeridge Health’s Emergency program.

Key Responsibilities:

- Obtain health and social histories from patients
- Conduct physical assessments and interpret clinical findings
- Activate directives and interpret diagnostic tests preliminarily
- Perform ECGs, casting, suturing, and orthopedic device application




- Document encounters and support physician technology use

Requirements:

- Register in positive standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
- Hold current CAPA and/or NCCPA membership in good standing
- Hold or qualify for PACCC or NCCPA certification
- Graduate from an approved Physician Assistant training program
- Demonstrate organization, judgment, communication, professionalism, and reliability
