The Opportunity

RVS invites you to apply for a temporary full-time (1.0 FTE) Middle School French Immersion Social Studies, FLA and ELA teaching position at Ecole Airdrie Middle School starting October 27, 2026, until June 29, 2027. Fluency in French and English is a requirement for this position.

Ecole Airdrie Middle School is located in the City of Airdrie and serves English and French Immersion students from grades 6-9.

This position is not open to those holding a Continuing Teaching contract with RVS.

Pre-employment Requirements

- Applicantsmust possess or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate. To be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate you must have applied for initial certificationwith Alberta Education atwww.alberta.ca/teacher-certification.
- The successful candidate must submit a current Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check within 30 days of the start of your employment.
- External Applicants must provide a skilled letter of reference, attached to the job application, from their most recent supervisor, relevant to the job opportunity, written on company letterhead, signed and dated within the past 18 months or a list of updated references of a current/recent supervisor on your application.
