Operate commercial building systems in Edmonton with QuadReal Property Group, using HVAC expertise and BAS technologies to support reliable performance.

Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the Level 2 Building Operator supports safe, effective, and environmentally responsible property operations. The work covers HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, life safety, and building automation systems. You will complete maintenance, inspections, documentation, tenant service, and regulatory compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate, monitor, maintain, and repair building systems and equipment
- Complete preventive maintenance, inspections, rounds, and documentation
- Respond promptly and professionally to tenant service requests
- Use BAS, work orders, and operational data to identify issues




- Support energy management, sustainability, and digital operations initiatives

Requirements:

- Minimum 5th Class Power Engineer Certificate
- At least three years of commercial building operations experience
- Working knowledge of HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and building operations technologies
- Valid driver’s licence and on-call availability
