Apply GIS, cartography, and data visualization skills as a full time GIS and Data Visualization Technologist with the Town of Oakville. Support spatial solutions using ArcGIS tools and Microsoft applications.

Reporting to the Supervisor, Spatial Solutions, this permanent position supports enterprise data solutions for the Town. You will create datasets, develop analytical products, assist application development, and address service requests. The work includes data quality, documentation, training, and technical support.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design custom maps, charts, plans, and spatial products
- Create and maintain spatial and non-spatial datasets
- Analyze and visualize data using ArcGIS and Power BI
- Use Python, ArcPy, and Arcade for workflow automation
- Provide training,



documentation, and end-user technical support

Requirements:

- Three-year diploma or degree in technology, GIS, environmental science, or related discipline
- Minimum one year of GIS and cartographic product experience
- Experience with relational and spatial database systems
- Knowledge of ArcGIS Pro, Online, Enterprise, and Microsoft tools
- Understanding of QA/QC principles and data integrity issues
