Support student learning through behaviour coaching, classroom management, and inclusive programming with Portage la Prairie School Division. This position commences January 4, 2027.

The Behaviour Coach supports the Division’s educational programs for students with varied needs. Candidates bring teaching, assessment, and organizational skills, along with experience supporting behaviourally or emotionally challenged students. Collaboration with colleagues, student support teams, and division leaders is essential.

- Plan, teach, and assess student learning
- Support diverse learning needs across school programs
- Create positive, respectful, and inclusive learning environments
- Apply effective classroom management and organizational skills

Requirements:

- Valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate in good standing
- Special Education and/or Counsellor’s Certificate
- Experience with behaviourally or emotionally challenged students
- Experience in primary education programming
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills
