Provide vascular and podiatry surgical nursing at Peter Lougheed Centre in Calgary as a temporary part time Registered Nurse. Apply critical thinking and patient teaching.

Unit 58 supports vascular, podiatry, surgical, and medical patients with comprehensive, family-centered care. As a Registered Nurse, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while collaborating with the multidisciplinary health care team. You may also assist sister Unit 59 when required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide comprehensive nursing care for surgical and medical patients
- Lead nursing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Teach, counsel, and advocate for patients and families
- Promote health, safety, maintenance, and restoration
- Support integrated and holistic patient-centered care

Requirements:

- Accredited nursing education program completion
- Active or eligible Alberta registered nurse practice permit
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
- Minimum one year recent surgical nursing experience
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient teaching skills
