Provide emergency nursing care at Halton Healthcare across rotating 12-hour shifts, assessing adult and paediatric patients in a multidisciplinary department.

This permanent full-time Registered Nurse position serves Halton, Halton Hills, and surrounding communities through a 54-bed Emergency Department. The department treats medical and mental health illnesses, with dedicated mental health and diagnostic imaging areas. Nurses assess needs and provide treatment while functioning interdependently with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other team members.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess adult and paediatric patients requiring emergency care
- Provide treatment within the Emergency Department
- Participate in triage and in-charge responsibilities




- Support timely referrals and admissions through comprehensive assessments
- Function interdependently with multidisciplinary healthcare team members

Requirements:

- Current valuable-standing registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current Heart and Stroke approved BLS Provider Card
- ACLS certificate required at hire and ongoing
- Required triage and in-charge experience
- Ability to meet physical demands and attendance requirements
