Join The Salvation Army as a Christmas Kettle Coordinator for our annual campaign. Oversee multiple kettle locations while ensuring effective staffing and operations throughout this temporary position.
In this crucial role, you will manage Christmas Kettle locations across your designated area, which includes shopping malls and retail outlets. You will be responsible for organizing teams of volunteers and ensuring that kettles are set up and secure. Robust leadership and communication skills are essential as you will need to foster positive relationships with community members and coordinate smoothly with staff and volunteers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and support Kettle Campaign Workers
• Ensure kettles are delivered to locations before shifts




• Respond to queries from potential donors
• Manage staffing schedules and emergency absences
• Compile weekly timesheets and reports
Requirements:
• Minimum one year experience in customer service
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Money handling experience is an asset
• Must have valid Ontario Class “G” Driver’s License
• Ability to lift up to 12 kg (25 lbs)
