The Food Runner acts as an important link between the front of the house and the back of the house. Their main duties include:

- Taking food from the kitchen and delivering it to guests.
- Assisting servers in meeting the needs of all guests.
- Assisting the kitchen staff in monitoring food quality.
- Keeping the food window clean and organized throughout each shift.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

- Able to keep cool under pressure.
- Able to work in a very quick-paced environment.
- Must have extensive knowledge of our menu, including ingredients and plate presentations of each item.
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.

Physical Requirements

- Must be able to move throughout the restaurant for extended periods of time (up to 10-12 hours per day).
- Must be able to carry 50 lbs for distances of up to 10 ft.
- Must be able to balance and move up to 25 lbs for distances of up to 50 ft.
- Must be able to understand and respond to employees' and guests' requests in a loud environment.
- Must be able to visually recognize proper food presentations and food quality.
