Position : CNC Machinist / CNC Operator

Location: West Kelowna, Canada

Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements.
Operate 4 & 5 axis CNC milling machines to produce precision parts.
Identify and resolve machining issues
Continuously improve the machining process
Use calipers and other measuring tools to ensure accuracy of machined parts.
Program CNC machines for specific tasks, utilizing knowledge of Mazatrol and Fanuc systems.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, following lean manufacturing principles.
Collaborate with team members to optimize assembly processes and meet production goals.

Requirements
5+ years of experience setting up and running 4 & 5 axis CNC Mills
Familiar with G-Code and editing programs
Experience with measurement equipment, i.e. gauges, calipers, etc.
Experience with basic hand tools.
Basic computer skills and ability to learn and use multiple computer applications (including email, internet, and other job-specific applications).
Basic math skills, including adding and subtracting decimals
Ability to read, interpret and follow blueprints.
