Deliver renal nursing care at Surrey Memorial Hospital using nephrology expertise, comprehensive assessment, and person-centered practice. This is a casual position in Surrey, B.C.

Fraser Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for its Hemodialysis team. The position requires post-graduate specialty education in Nephrology, or interest in pursuing sponsored specialty education. You will assess patients, coordinate care, and collaborate with families, Physicians, and inter-skilled teams. Clinical nursing experience and BCCNM registration are required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess patients on admission and at regular intervals
- Plan, provide, and evaluate nursing interventions
- Coordinate care plans with patients, families, and care teams




- Teach patients and families about self-care and discharge planning
- Document assessments, interventions, outcomes, and referrals

Requirements:

- Graduation from an approved School of Nursing
- Current Registered Nurse registration with BCCNM
- Two years of recent related clinical nursing experience
- Post-graduate Nephrology education or applicable clinical certification
- Ability to initiate intravenous therapy and recognize acuity changes
