Role Description This is a full time, on-site Travel Agent role based in Surrey, BC. The Travel Agent will assist clients with planning and booking travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, tours, and car rentals, while ensuring accuracy and adherence to budgets and preferences. Responsibilities include managing reservations in booking systems, providing timely customer service, handling changes or cancellations, and resolving travel-related issues. The role also involves promoting travel packages, recommending destinations and services,



and supporting sales efforts to meet individual and team targets. The Travel Agent will collaborate with colleagues to maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel regulations, supplier offerings, and industry best practices. Qualifications
• Strong skills in Reservations and Travel Arrangements, including experience using booking systems or GDS platforms.
• Demonstrated Customer Service abilities, with a focus on clear communication, problem solving, and client satisfaction.
• Knowledge of Car Rental and related travel services, with the ability to coordinate complete travel itineraries.
• Sales skills, including the ability to recommend products, upsell services, and meet performance targets.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple client requests at once.
• Comfort working in an on-site environment and collaborating with a team in Surrey, BC.
• Proficiency with standard office software; familiarity with travel industry tools is an asset.
• Previous experience in a travel agency, hospitality, or customer-facing role preferred; relevant training or certification in travel and tourism is beneficial.
