Crewse Consulting Group | Remote – Canada (PST Working Hours) | Contract

Crewse Consulting Group is looking for an experienced Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM & Payroll Functional Consultant to support an enterprise HR and payroll transformation project within the Canadian K–12 public education sector.

We're seeking a consultant who combines strong Oracle HCM/Payroll functional knowledge with hands-on Canadian school-board implementation experience, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and implementation teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Support Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM and Payroll implementation activities, including functional design, configuration validation, testing, and issue resolution.
- Work collaboratively with HR, Payroll, Finance, technical teams, and implementation partners to translate business requirements into effective solutions.
- Analyze complex payroll requirements involving collective agreements, employee groups, earnings, deductions, absences, and payroll calculations.
- Lead or support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), payroll reconciliation, and defect resolution.
- Identify functional gaps, assess business impacts, and recommend practical solutions.
- Facilitate stakeholder discussions, communicate findings, and ensure timely completion of assigned deliverables.
- Contribute to functional documentation, knowledge transfer, and implementation readiness.

Required Qualifications




- Demonstrated hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM and Payroll implementations.
- Previous Canadian school-board/school-district implementation experience is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll processes, collective agreements, and complex unionized environments.
- Experience with payroll testing, reconciliation, functional analysis, and issue resolution.
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and team collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and contribute effectively in a team-oriented project environment.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Oracle Payroll Fast Formulas, absence management, payroll costing, and integrations.
- Experience with legacy HR/payroll system modernization projects.
- Previous experience leading payroll functional workstreams.
