Onsite 5 days a week in Halifax

Controlled Goods and Reliability Status will be required

/ Requirements

- Minimum 7 years of direct Project Management experience, including leading large-scale projects and teams
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- IT background with Waterfall project delivery experience
- Experience selecting/deploying new software or integrating existing systems
- Strong knowledge of project management principles, standards, processes, tools, techniques, and methodologies
- Experience proactively managing changes in project scope
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- High level of energy and engagement
- Self-directed with a strong sense of accountability and ownership
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to build consensus among groups with different priorities
- Experience with Quality Assurance and testing methodologies
- Proficiency with project management software/tools




- Strong awareness of privacy and confidentiality
- Strong presentation, facilitation, communication, and influencing skills while managing multiple initiatives

Assets

- Project Management certification such as PMP or PgMP
- Previous defence industry experience
