Our growing product categories include premium pet treats, natural chews, grooming and wellness products, toys, enrichment products, feeding accessories, pet beds, cat litter and more.

We are building our retail distribution network across Canada and looking for experienced sales professionals who want to play a key role in that growth.

The OpportunityWe are seeking an ambitious, highly motivated Territory Sales Manager to develop our Ontario business from the ground up.

This is a new business development position with significant opportunity to build and grow an assigned territory.

We are looking for someone who already knows the Ontario pet retail industry, understands how to approach retail buyers and has the relationships and sales experience needed to open new accounts.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify, prospect and secure new independent pet specialty retailers throughout Ontario.
- Develop new relationships with store owners, purchasing managers and regional retail buyers.
- Build an active customer base and generate consistent sales through new account development.
- Introduce Paw Valley's portfolio of pet brands through store visits, sales presentations and product demonstrations.
- Secure initial product listings, opening orders and repeat purchases.
- Develop relationships with regional retail chains and multi-store operators.
- Increase product distribution and assortment within newly established accounts.




- Identify opportunities within farm and feed stores, co-operatives, garden centres and other complementary retail channels.
- Prepare regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates and territory development reports.
- Work directly with Paw Valley management on major retail opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry trade shows and retail events.

What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3–5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably within the Canadian pet industry.
- Established relationships with independent pet retailers throughout Ontario are strongly preferred.
- Proven success opening new accounts and developing territories.
- A proactive, hunter-style sales mentality.
- Strong understanding of retail margins, product presentations, merchandising and assortment development.
- Comfortable independently managing a territory with limited existing business.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Willingness to travel regularly throughout Ontario.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation.
