Our client, Industrial Services is seeking a Industrial Cleaner to join their team. As a Industrial Cleaner, you will be part of the Dock Operations support team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, a reliable work ethic, and the ability to follow procedures consistently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Industrial Cleaner

Location: New Glasgow, NS

Pay Range: 19.05 + premiums

Shift: 8 hour shifts - Monday-Friday - 6AM-2:30PM

What's the Job?

- Maintain cleanliness and order in the dock area to support safe, efficient operations.
- Perform physical cleaning work, including occasional lifting of material up to 10kg and pushing or pulling as needed.
- Assist production staff with varied cleaning tasks.
- Be prepared to operate powered industrial vehicles when required, with training provided..

What's Needed?

- Ability to work safely in a shop environment and consistently follow PPE and site safety procedures.
- Comfort with physical tasks, including lifting up to 10kg and pushing or pulling.
- Ability to work in a dusty environment.
- Willingness to wear respiratory protection when required and to follow all related safety instructions.
- Openness to receiving training for powered industrial vehicle operation when assigned.
