Guide data protection at StackAdapt as Privacy Counsel, using privacy law expertise and robust drafting skills in a remote-first setting across Canada or the United States.
Reporting to the Global Privacy Counsel, you will support and develop StackAdapt’s global privacy program. The position works across business units and strategic projects to advance data protection initiatives and supporting technologies. You will help maintain compliance, mitigate organizational risk, and foster customer and consumer trust.
Key Responsibilities: Negotiate and draft Data Processing Agreements
Provide actionable guidance on data protection frameworks
Monitor evolving privacy legislation and industry guidelines
Implement privacy by design principles




Provide thought leadership on privacy matters
Requirements: At least five years of privacy or legal operations experience
In-house adtech or martech experience, or reputable firm experience
Active standing in at least one United States state bar
Practical CCPA, COPPA, PIPEDA, and HIPAA experience
Exceptional writing and drafting skills
Apply privacy counsel expertise, data protection knowledge, and business-focused legal communication to StackAdapt’s global privacy program.
