Talently is seeking Corporate Counsel on behalf of a high-growth insurance provider. The position requires corporate/commercial law experience, insurance regulatory compliance knowledge, and Canadian legal licensing. You will provide strategic guidance while supporting governance, contracts, and internal compliance training.
Key Responsibilities: Provide guidance on insurance products, compliance, distribution, and claims
Support corporate initiatives with strategic legal advice
Oversee subsidiary corporate governance across Canadian provinces




Draft and review insurance-related contracts
Design legal compliance training for internal stakeholders
Requirements: LLB or JD from an accredited Canadian university
Current license to practice law in Canada
Three to six years of legal experience
Solid corporate/commercial law background
Insurance regulatory compliance experience; marketing law knowledge preferred
