Use instructional design and adult education expertise as a Learning & Development Advisor supporting virtual professional learning in Toronto. This hybrid contract requires three office days weekly.
This six-month contract supports a member-based Canadian professional services organization. You will develop professional learning programs with the existing design team and subject matter experts. The work focuses on practical experiences, CPD alignment, and stronger professional development portfolios.
Key Responsibilities: Develop professional learning courses from concept through launch
Define objectives, structures, and content scopes with SMEs
Translate complex topics into engaging practical learning experiences
Manage concurrent projects, timelines, quality, and deliverables
Prepare descriptions, outcomes,



and catalogue support materials
Requirements: Post-secondary education in learning, adult education, or instructional design
Experience developing virtual professional or technical CPD content
Robust ability to structure complex information engagingly
Experience managing stakeholders, timelines, and concurrent projects
Professional services, association, or regulated-environment experience
Bring instructional design, adult education, and stakeholder management expertise to professional learning programs serving Toronto’s member community.
