Drive UPS package deliveries in Ajax while applying safe driving and customer service skills. This full-time outdoor job requires physical package handling.
As a permanent Package Delivery Driver, you will deliver and pick up packages from UPS’s Ajax location. The Tuesday-to-Saturday schedule starts at 9:00 AM, with flexibility and eight-to-ten-hour shifts. Daily work includes driving, package tracking, and loading or unloading trucks.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver and pick up packages efficiently and effectively
Follow company-established secure and defensive driving methods
Load and unload trucks as required
Record, track, and maintain delivered package information
Wear the company-provided vest and uniform
Requirements: Valid Ontario G Driver’s License
Clean driver’s abstract meeting UPS requirements
Ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 pounds
Ability to read and navigate maps or map books
Excellent customer contact and driving skills
Bring safe driving, package handling, navigation, and customer contact skills to UPS deliveries throughout Ajax and surrounding areas.
