Deliver mail and parcels as a Letter Carrier with Canada Post in Labrador City, Newfoundland and Labrador. Work outdoors year-round while serving customers and businesses.
This temporary, on-call Delivery Agent role represents Canada Post throughout the community. You will sort deliveries, drive a postal vehicle, and deliver mail and packages by foot or vehicle. The position requires protected driving, physical ability, and English and/or French communication.
Key Responsibilities: Sort and prepare daily deliveries at the depot
Load and drive a Canada Post postal vehicle
Deliver mail and packages along assigned routes
Return incoming items to the depot for later delivery
Requirements: Valid Class 5 or Class G driver’s licence
Safe driving record for at least three years
Ability to lift 22.7 kilograms and carry 15.9 kilograms
Availability to work on-call in all weather
Ability to read, write, and speak English and/or French
Bring safe driving, physical readiness, and dependable delivery service to Canada Post customers in Labrador City.
