Provide resident care as a Personal Support Worker at AgeCare Regina Gardens in Hamilton, using care plans and bedside-care knowledge. This is a temporary part-time position.
The Personal Support Worker supports residents according to established care plans and helps identify their needs. You will monitor care, document information, and report findings to your immediate supervisor. The position also supports a secure environment and follows infection prevention and control requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Monitor resident care against established plans of care
Observe residents and report findings to supervisors
Document resident-care information as directed
Attend education sessions, meetings, and workshops
Follow IPAC policies and procedures
Requirements: Graduate of a Personal Support Worker certificate or diploma program
Meet Ministry of Training vocational standards
Meet National Association of Career Colleges standards
Meet Ontario Community Support Association standards
Understand bedside care, sanitation, and geriatric resident needs
Bring resident-care, documentation, and infection-control knowledge to Personal Support Worker duties at AgeCare Regina Gardens in Hamilton.
