Your Opportunity: Health Shared Services is seeking a temporary Maintenance Worker I role at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre. As a Maintenance Worker I, the primary responsibilities include the groundskeeping and external maintenance of the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre as well as multiple other sites located within Red Deer, including our corporate office building, community health centers, and other patient care sites. The work will include grounds and lawn maintenance, collection and disposal of garbage and debris, snow and ice removal, sanding, cleaning of work areas and grounds shop, and minor maintenance to grounds equipment. Work may also include assisting other maintenance workers and tradespersons in our department as needed. Preference will be given to individuals with experience in: Groundskeeping or landscaping. Trailer Towing. Cargo Securement. Operating skid steer, ride on tractors, and ride on mowers.
