As a Bus Driver in the Transportation Department, you report to the Director of Transportation and cooperate with drivers and office staff. The six-hour daily schedule includes a three-part run, morning and afternoon service for Viscount Alexander, plus a noon MITT/OP/SH shuttle. Your work follows Manitoba laws, school bus procedures, and Pembina Trails policies.
Key Responsibilities: Provide safe, efficient student and staff transportation
Maintain current routes and route maps on assigned buses
Complete pre-trip inspections, defect reports, and log entries
Maintain vehicle cleanliness,



fluids, and fueling
Report accidents and conduct bus evacuation drills
Requirements: Current Manitoba Class 1 or 2 Driver’s License
Current Manitoba School Bus Driver’s License
Excellent Manitoba driving record and effective communication skills
Ability to understand written and spoken English
Pass the Director’s practical driving examination
Bring protected driving, route management, and communication skills to Pembina Trails School Division’s Winnipeg transportation services.
