Job Purpose
Our branch is looking for a yard worker to maintain organization of the yard and equipment all while providing support to shop operations. This position is Monday to Friday 7 am - 4 pm.

What you will do...

Loading and unloading of rental equipment

Status verification of equipment on the yard

Stage equipment for maintenance and repair activity

Ability to diagnose and repair earth moving and aerial equipment

Review reservation reports to ensure the correct equipment is ready to rent

Wash and light maintenance of equipment, function checks of equipment prior to the next rental

Equipment quality inspections

Maintain organization on the yard

Ability to deal with customers as required

Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Valid Class 5 Driver's license

A recent abstract will be required

Previous experience repairing small tools considered an asset

Previous experience in warehouse or general labour considered an asset

Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds frequently.





Must be able to work indoors and outdoors when required of the job.

Ability to perform repetitive tasks; stretch, turn, twist, and reach overhead; bend, crouch, squat, kneel, and stoop for extended periods of time.

Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.

Forklift certification strong asset.

Must be a teamplayer with a positive attitude.

Skills

Results orientated, process and problem-solving skills

Team player with initiative and a positive attitude

Capable of driving equipment

Yard or other operational experience at an equipment rental yard

Construction related experience

Type: Replacement

Pay Range: $24.62 per hour + $1050 per month living allowance
