Support exceptional patient care as a Dental Assistant on the Sunshine Coast, using dental imaging, sterilization, and treatment-room preparation skills. Full-time or part-time scheduling is available.
A Smart Smile Dentistry seeks a registered and/or certified Dental Assistant for its patient-focused Gibsons practice. You will assist dentists and hygienists, support children’s hygiene appointments, and help maintain productive patient flow. The position includes modern technology, patient education, chart updates, and infection control following IPAC standards.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures
Assist dentists and hygienists while maintaining patient comfort
Support children’s hygiene appointments and patient flow




Take dental X-rays and digital images as required
Perform sterilization and infection control under IPAC standards
Requirements: Registered and/or certified with a provincial regulatory body or association
Previous dental assisting experience preferred
Ability to update charts and educate patients
Commitment to privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines
Legal authorization to work in Canada
