Build FP&A; experience with MLSE while supporting reports, forecasts, and reconciliations during regular weekday business hours. Work across Toronto sports and entertainment operations.
As a Finance Intern, you will support MLSE’s business planning, forecasting, accounting, treasury, tax, and strategic planning cycles. You will gain practical experience with Financial Planning & Analysis, Tax, and Treasury Accounting functions. The work includes Oracle ERP, Microsoft Excel, financial reporting, and data validation.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare monthly reports and variance analyses for FP&A;
Load annual budgets and forecasts into Oracle ERP
Generate reports supporting operational decision-making
Complete cash entries and bank reconciliations
Assist with tax filings and audit requests
Requirements: Currently studying Accounting, Finance, or a related subject
Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP
Understanding of balance sheets and P&Ls;
Analytical approach with robust attention to detail
Availability for regular weekday business hours
Develop FP&A;, Oracle ERP, Excel, reporting, and reconciliation experience supporting MLSE’s finance team.
