Key Duties and Responsibilities Operate dump trucks weighing over 4,500 kg to transport gravel, sand, soil, construction debris, and other bulk materials to and from job sites
Load and unload materials using the dump truck's hydraulic system; ensure cargo is properly secured and distributed within legal weight limits
Plan routes and meet delivery and project schedules
Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, and fluid levels
Complete logbooks, trip records, and all required documentation
Communicate with dispatch, site supervisors, and loader operators using two-way radios and mobile phones
Comply with all provincial and federal transportation regulations and company safety policies
Perform emergency roadside repairs if necessary
Requirements Education: Completion of secondary high school

English
Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience operating dump trucks or heavy transport trucks
Licences & Certifications Valid Class 3 (or Class 1) licence
Air brake endorsement (or equivalent)
