Backwoods Energy Services seeks an Equipment Operator with heavy equipment experience and solid safe work practices. You will operate skid steers, excavators, loaders, telehandlers, and assigned machinery. The work includes inspections, documentation, load securement, hazard recognition, and equipment maintenance. Collaboration with supervisors, truck drivers, and project personnel supports project completion.
Key Responsibilities: Operate assigned heavy equipment safely across project environments
Complete inspections, logbooks, and required documentation




Secure loads under provincial transportation regulations
Participate in toolbox meetings and hazard assessments
Maintain organized work areas and equipment
Requirements: Previous heavy equipment operating experience in relevant environments
Valid Class 5 Driver's License required
Ability to work long hours and rotational schedules
Basic equipment maintenance and mechanical aptitude
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds outdoors
