Lead technical wins for Featherless.ai across North America, using Python and contemporary LLM inference expertise with developers, ML engineers, and CTOs.
As the first Sales Engineer, you will pair with the founding Account Executive as the technical owner for active opportunities. You will evaluate workloads, design proofs of concept, run benchmarks, and demonstrate open-model inference against incumbent solutions. The role combines customer-facing engineering with building the sales engineering function.
Key Responsibilities: Partner with the founding Account Executive on opportunities
Run discovery across models, workloads, latency, throughput, and spend
Design POCs and benchmarks against incumbent solutions
Lead architecture reviews, live demos, and working code
Build reusable demos,



collateral, migration guides, and answer libraries
Requirements: Three to six years in presales engineering or solutions architecture
Comfortable writing Python and building technical demonstrations
Knowledge of LLM inference, serving stacks, APIs, and quantization
Familiarity with Hugging Face and open-model evaluation
Experience with containers, Kubernetes, cloud networking, and security fundamentals
Bring hands-on Python, LLM inference, and customer-facing engineering skills to build Featherless.ai's technical sales foundation.
