As an Actuarial Analyst, you will support the Large Accounts Pricing team for commercial accounts exceeding $2M in premium. Analyze Property, Casualty, and Auto products while collaborating with underwriters. Your work supports pricing, profitability, and the commercial insurance business.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct indication analysis for individual account rate adequacy
Support reviews of high value complex portfolios
Evaluate credit risk for accounts with large retentions
Communicate findings to managers, underwriters, brokers, and senior management
Support process improvements and analytical automation
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or data science
Equivalent experience will also be considered
Minimum one year of preferred P&C; actuarial experience
Completion of two or more SOA or CAS exams
Solid analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Use actuarial pricing, risk evaluation, and communication skills to support Aviva Canada’s complex commercial insurance accounts.
