As a Personal Support Worker, you will observe residents, report findings, and assist with care documentation. You will help maintain a secure environment while supporting residents’ needs. The position also includes attending meetings, education sessions, and workshops, plus assisting with staff onboarding as directed.
Key Responsibilities: Provide resident care according to established care plans
Observe residents and report findings to supervisors
Assist with documenting resident care information
Follow infection prevention and control policies
Attend meetings, workshops, and education sessions
Requirements: Personal Support Worker certificate or diploma graduation
Meet Ontario Ministry vocational standards
Meet National Association of Career Colleges standards
Understand simple treatments and bedside care techniques
Know sanitation, cleaning, and geriatric resident needs
