Apply data analytics and process improvement skills as an Investment Operations intern at IMCO, working hybrid with an office-first approach in downtown Toronto.
This summer internship supports undergraduate, master’s students, and recent graduates from May through August 2027. On the Continuous Improvement & Transformation team, you will help enhance workflows and reporting processes through artificial intelligence, automation, and operational analysis. You will collaborate with the Director, stakeholders, and IT to modernize capabilities within investment management.
Key Responsibilities: Assess and redesign processes for greater efficiency and effectiveness
Enrich, automate, and deliver accurate investment data
Gather requirements, develop solutions, and conduct testing




Partner with IT on analytics and automation initiatives
Explore artificial intelligence applications for operational challenges
Requirements: Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline or recent graduate status
Knowledge of financial markets and financial data analysis
Solid oral, written, organizational, and communication skills
Microsoft Office, Power Query, and Power BI proficiency
Familiarity with SQL, VBA, Python, or relational databases
Build investment operations expertise through process improvement, automation, data analytics, and artificial intelligence initiatives at IMCO.
