Sandwich Shop Lead — Adhoc Sandwiches & Smoothies Pay: CA$19.00–CA$24.00 per hour (depending on experience) plus tips Expected start date: October 22, 2026 Hours: 37–40 hours per week Shift times & days: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday As a Shop Lead/Manager, you'll join a small team to help manage and execute daily operations at our soon-to-be-open sandwich shop in downtown Calgary. Our focus at Adhoc is serving quality, fresh made sandwiches, smoothies and house-baked goods to our customers efficiently. We're looking for a dependable, down-to-earth and confident leader to manage daily operations and prepare the shop for a smooth and productive service every day.

What you'll do
- Prepare made-to-order sandwiches, smoothies and smoothie bowls quickly and consistently
- Lead shifts,



support the team and keep service moving during rushes
- Serve customers warmly, take orders and handle the till
- Keep the shop clean and food-safe; stock and rotate ingredients
- Open and close the shop and flag inventory needs What we're looking for:
- Experience in food service, a café or quick-service restaurant; leadership experience is a plus
- Comfortable working fast without cutting corners
- Friendly, reliable and great with customers
- Food Safe certification, or willing to get it
