- AWS. BrainRidge Consulting is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Senior Cloud Architect (AWS) to support short and medium-term business and technology cloud initiatives, collaborating with Enterprise Architecture and business technology stakeholders. Responsibilities
• Drive the design and patterns for secure cloud application environments, platform enhancements, application architecture, data services, and cloud service integrations
• Conduct technical audits of existing architectures, including infrastructure, performance, data security, and scalability
• Architect and implement cloud solutions for various application architectures, integrating cloud applications, data services, and infrastructure programmatically
• Develop application data architecture models to enable effective service-oriented delivery
• Review application solution designs for cloud compatibility and optimize deployment patterns for reusability
• Assist Lines of Business in architecting scalable, highly available application solutions leveraging cloud services
• Collaborate with architects and operational/infrastructure and delivery teams to align current services with application and infrastructure roadmaps




• Offer technical guidance to Lines of Business restructuring applications for cloud deployment, adhering to 12-factor development practices
• Collaborate with stakeholders to formulate cloud migration and transformation strategies and infrastructure roadmaps
• Identify gaps in cloud infrastructure architecture and propose new technologies, running pilot projects and POCs
• Document and maintain a repository of best practices and standardized templates
• Lead meetings with subject matter experts across infrastructure, operations, applications, and vendors Qualifications
• Deep understanding of cloud design patterns, Cloud Native Architecture principles, cloud operations, and cloud security models
• 4-5 years of demonstrated hands-on experience designing and configuring secure and scalable cloud platform patterns on AWS
• Programming abilities encompassing API and webhook development in languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, Ruby, PowerShell, or Shell Scripting
• In-depth knowledge of cloud services including application integration, functions, cloud databases, data warehouse and analytics, machine learning, developer tools, and security/identity management
• Proven experience architecting, designing, and implementing high-volume, high-availability cloud applications with a high degree of automation
• Ability to communicate both abstract and concrete concepts to different audiences
• Strong facilitation, negotiation, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
• Ability to lead client meetings and workshops covering discovery, cloud compliance, and security
