Deliver secure geriatric nursing care with AgeCare as a Registered Nurse, applying clinical judgment, teamwork, and resident-focused communication.
The Registered Nurse reports to the Director of Care and collaborates on resident care within competency. This position provides ethical nursing services while supporting AgeCare values of respect, teamwork, and quality. A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and provincial registration are required.
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate nursing and resident services within the neighbourhood
Lead shift reports with the healthcare team
Communicate changes in residents’ conditions promptly
Document resident information according to required standards
Review and process physician orders as required
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Registration and good standing with the provincial registry
Knowledge of geriatric, rehabilitation, or long-term care nursing
Knowledge of relevant nursing home legislation and regulations
Knowledge of Provincial College of Nurses standards
Support resident safety and quality care through nursing coordination, documentation, physician orders, and collaborative teamwork at AgeCare.
