This Health Care Aide supports residents, families, and visitors in a home-like setting. The position promotes independence, choice, dignity, privacy, culture, spirituality, and individuality. Care follows Covenant Care protocols, policies, applicable legislation, and its mission, vision, and values.
Key Responsibilities: Provide personal care and social support to residents
Assist residents with recreation and leisure activities
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
Support end-of-life care respecting resident choices
Requirements: Minimum Grade 12 education required
Recognized Health Care Aide Certificate completed
Enrollment in Alberta Health Care Aide Directory
Fluent English reading, writing, and speaking ability
Six months to one year preferred in continuing care
Bring compassionate resident support, clear communication, confidentiality, and teamwork to Covenant Care as a Health Care Aide.
