Support critical care patients as a Respiratory Therapist with BCHS across Brantford and Paris, Ontario. Apply evidence-based respiratory care in hospital settings.
Reporting to the Clinical Manager, Critical Care, you will provide comprehensive, safe, effective, and ethical Respiratory Therapist services. The position supports anesthesiology in the Operating Room and Labour and Delivery. It also involves mechanical ventilation, patient transport, respiratory assessment, and intervention. Current graduates are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities: Manage mechanically ventilated patients using ventilation and weaning protocols
Support anesthesiology in Operating Room and Labour and Delivery
Assess and intervene for high-risk respiratory failure patients




Assist with transport of intubated patients
Participate in the on-call rotation
Requirements: Valid certificate from the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario
Current BCLS and ACLS certifications
Demonstrated previous clinical experience
Excellent communication, critical thinking, and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Bring respiratory assessment, ventilation management, and critical care skills to BCHS patients in Brantford and Paris.
