Use Red Seal electrical expertise at Weyerhaeuser’s Kenora Timberstrand Plant, troubleshooting automation and maintaining systems in permanent full time work.
This Industrial Electrician reports to the Electrical and Instrument Supervisor in a highly automated manufacturing operation. The position maintains electrical, electromechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems throughout the plant. It also involves Allen-Bradley ControlLogix PLCs, industrial networks, SCADA, HMI, VFD drives, and SAP CMMS.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain electrical distribution, motor control centres, VFD drives, and motors
Troubleshoot integrated electromechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Troubleshoot, program, and maintain ControlLogix PLC controllers




Manage work orders and preventative maintenance through SAP CMMS
Complete inspections, maintenance, construction, and plant improvement work
Requirements: Provincial or Interprovincial Red Seal Electrician certification
Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office
Willingness to work rotating 12-hour day and night shifts
Three to five years of industrial experience preferred
