Repair industrial equipment onsite at GM Canada’s Oshawa Assembly while applying millwright expertise, troubleshooting skills, and preventative maintenance experience.
GM Canada seeks experienced Industrial Millwright Mechanics for its Oshawa Facility. You will support plant processes by repairing, installing, replacing, and maintaining equipment. The work includes robotic welding cells, hydraulic and pneumatic circuits, conveyance systems, gearboxes, pumps, rigging, and hoisting.
Key Responsibilities: Repair, overhaul, install, replace, and maintain industrial equipment
Fabricate parts and assemblies from blueprints or scratch
Troubleshoot robotic welding cells and industrial circuits
Diagnose valves, cylinders, conveyance systems, gearboxes,



and pumps
Perform rigging and hoisting activities safely
Requirements: High school education and valid Millwright License
Successful completion of Canadian Millwright Apprenticeship Program
Basic computer skills
Availability to work any shift and scheduled overtime
Welding experience, Heavy Equipment license, or Dual Ticket preferred
Bring licensed millwright expertise, equipment troubleshooting, and fabrication skills to GM Canada’s onsite Oshawa Assembly facility.
