Develop heavy equipment repair skills with Sureway Construction in Edmonton as a first or second year Transport Trailer apprentice. Work locally on a 5 and 2 schedule.
This full time, permanent position supports Sureway’s heavy construction operations across civil earthworks, utilities, mine operation, and aggregate extraction. You will maintain equipment, complete repairs, and perform diagnostics using hydraulic and electronic schematics. Engine rebuild, power train, electronics, emissions, and CVIP experience are beneficial.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain equipment to the highest standards
Conduct performance and quality checks according to procedure
Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and overhauls
Adhere to Sureway’s safety program




Encourage safety across employees, subcontractors, and consultants
Requirements: First or second year Heavy Equipment Technician apprentice
Transport Trailer apprenticeship qualification
Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic and electronic schematics
Exceptional organization and cleanliness skills
Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and required tools
Bring apprenticeship training, diagnostic ability, and disciplined maintenance practices to Sureway’s Edmonton repair facility.
