Provide complex mental health nursing care as a full time Registered Nurse at Providence Care Hospital, using autonomous clinical judgment and the nursing process.
This Registered Nurse supports patients requiring complex mental health services at Providence Care Hospital. Working with patients, families, and the clinical team, the RN coordinates care toward maximum independence and wellness. The position requires acute psychiatric experience, therapeutic relationships, and comprehensive care planning.
Key Responsibilities: Complete nursing histories using patient, family, and other information
Develop goal-oriented care plans with patients
Build therapeutic relationships with patients and families
Follow prescribed medical regimes accurately
Manage deviations from predicted client responses
Requirements: Current unrestricted College of Nurses of Ontario registration
Recent experience in an acute psychiatric setting
Current CPR certification
BSc.N. preferred
Apply autonomous nursing judgment, therapeutic communication, and care planning skills as a Registered Nurse in complex mental health services.
