Apply Red Seal pipefitting expertise at Domtar’s Port Mellon facility, troubleshooting industrial systems and supporting safe mechanical maintenance. This is full-time, permanent work.
Howe Sound Pulp and Paper is seeking a Pipefitter for its Mechanical Maintenance department. The role requires Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyman Pipefitter or Gasfitter certification, industrial experience, and strong diagnostic abilities. You will install, maintain, and repair water and waste disposal systems while interpreting blueprints and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities: Install water and waste disposal systems
Maintain and repair industrial system components
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical system issues




Disassemble and reassemble components as required
Interpret blueprints and project specifications
Requirements: Valid Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyman certification
Five or more years of industrial experience
Pulp and paper experience considered an asset
Robust interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work safely and efficiently
Bring certified pipefitting, troubleshooting, and industrial maintenance experience to Domtar’s safe Port Mellon operations and mechanical maintenance team.
