Penn-co Construction seeks an experienced technician for its Service Department. The position combines shop and field work across excavators, dozers, cranes, trucks, and trailers. You will troubleshoot equipment, complete repairs, and support field operations through efficient in office solutions.
Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair excavators, dozers, cranes, and forklifts
Maintain highway trucks and trailers, including brake systems
Complete hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, welding, and fabrication repairs
Troubleshoot on-site issues to minimize operational downtime




Maintain service records, time sheets, and parts logs
Requirements: Red Seal certification preferred; apprentices and all levels considered
Experience repairing heavy equipment and highway trucks
Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and mechanical aptitude
Valid Class 5 driver’s license required
Ability to travel to remote project locations
Use heavy equipment diagnostics, hydraulic expertise, and field repair skills across Penn-co’s diverse construction fleet in Manitoba.
