Provide vascular and podiatry surgical nursing at Peter Lougheed Centre in Calgary as a temporary part-time Registered Nurse. Apply critical thinking and patient teaching.
Unit 58 supports vascular, podiatry, surgical, and medical patients with comprehensive, family-centered care. As a Registered Nurse, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while collaborating with the multidisciplinary health care team. You may also assist sister Unit 59 when required.
Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive nursing care for surgical and medical patients
Lead nursing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
Teach, counsel, and advocate for patients and families
Promote health, safety, maintenance, and restoration




Support integrated and holistic patient-centered care
Requirements: Accredited nursing education program completion
Active or eligible Alberta registered nurse practice permit
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
Minimum one year recent surgical nursing experience
Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient teaching skills
Bring surgical nursing experience, team-oriented judgment, and patient-centered care to Registered Nurse practice on Unit 58.
