Reporting to the Director, Accounting, this full-time internship provides hands-on experience at Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Partnership. Assist core accounting functions supporting ticketing, global partnerships, and live events. Develop communication skills while liaising with finance colleagues and cross-functional business units.
Key Responsibilities: Journalize daily cash depository receipts
Analyze Salesforce contracts month-over-month
Journalize credit card chargebacks
Reconcile balance sheet accounts
Participate in special projects as needed
Requirements: Work toward an undergraduate degree
Complete prerequisites for CPA Skilled Education Program entry
Intend to pursue a CPA designation
Analyze and interpret data effectively
Use Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
Apply analytical, organizational, and communication skills while developing accounting experience with MLSE’s Toronto finance team.
