As an experienced Music teacher, you will support Junior School learners from Junior Kindergarten through Grade 7, focusing on Grades 4 to 7. The program follows the revised BC Curriculum and a student-centred, inquiry-based approach. You will work with teaching partners, support teachers, educational assistants, and the learning resource team.
Key Responsibilities: Plan and implement Junior School choral Music programs
Develop vocal technique among girls
Direct choirs, concerts, and performances
Prepare Music for school assemblies
Support the Junior School Spring Musical
Requirements: Valid B.C. Ministry of Education Certification
Music-focused educational background
Required piano and vocal training
Experience teaching Music to young children
