Provide personal care as a Health Care Aide with Winnipeg Regional Health Authority’s Home Care Program in Winnipeg, working in person.
This full-time clinical position supports clients through safe, effective care that respects comfort, privacy, and dignity. The work requires communication, critical thinking, organization, and independent or team-based practice. A recognized Health Care Aide course is required, with community travel between clients’ homes.
Key Responsibilities: Provide secure, effective personal care for clients
Communicate with clients, families, and coworkers
Organize and prioritize assigned workload
Transfer and transport patients and equipment
Travel between clients’ homes as required
Requirements: Recognized Health Care Aide course completion
Manitoba Class 5 driver’s license and reliable vehicle
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support training when required
Basic Microsoft Word and Outlook computer skills
Ability to work shifts, weekends, and travel
Bring compassionate personal care, sound judgment, and reliable communication to Winnipeg’s community Home Care Program.
