Lead bilingual yard operations at XTL Transport’s Varennes Terminal, using trailer handling and daily inspection skills. Work Tuesday to Saturday, 5 a.m. to 3 p.m.
This permanent Bilingual Lead Shunter position focuses on moving trailers and containers around the yard. You will open and close doors, handle security seals, and communicate with the Operations Technician. The role also supports inventory, truck management, and related yard duties.
Key Responsibilities: Move trailers and containers throughout the terminal yard
Open and close trailer and container doors
Handle security seals and maintain inventory
Perform daily truck inspections and visually inspect tractors
Drive trailers as operational needs require
Requirements: Class 1, 3, or 5 driver’s license
Good driving record and similar position experience
Valuable physical condition for yard duties
Ability to work in all weather conditions
Commitment to Occupational Health and Safety
Support safe, organized terminal operations as a bilingual lead shunter handling trailers, inspections, seals, and inventory.
