Reporting to the Store Manager, the Assistant Store Manager supports daily operations and motivates the team. You will monitor KPIs, coordinate floor coverage, and contribute to store performance. The position also supports hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management processes.
Key Responsibilities: Coach and motivate the team on the sales floor
Prioritize customer satisfaction throughout store activities
Monitor KPIs and recommend actions supporting store goals
Support hiring, onboarding, training, and succession planning
Manage inventory, compliance, procedures, and daily tasks
Requirements: Two-plus years managing teams in retail or customer-focused environments
Proven ability to lead teams toward objectives
Strong organization, planning, and prioritization skills
Proficiency with POS, ERP, ATS, and Microsoft Office Suite
High school diploma and versatile evening, weekend, holiday availability
Support Reitmans store performance through team leadership, customer service, operational organization, and KPI-focused retail management.
